Norse Networks can analyse your existing network infrastructure to identify potential issues, improvements and cost savings. We can work with incomplete or even non-existent documentation, by careful analysis of working configurations to reverse engineer a current architectural overview. We can then use this information to produce full network design documentation, or more immediate reporting on areas that require priority remediation.
Norse Networks can take your business requirements and transform them into technical networking solutions, producing high-level enterprise architectural documentation and low-level technical design documents. In addition to business requirements, we can take input from the wider architectural team, the network support function and use cases from end-users, to provide workable solutions that the whole organisation can agree on. We are used to working with vendors to ensure that solutions are fully supported, and that potential future developments are aligned with their product roadmaps.
Once a new target architecture has been identified, with by Norse Networks, in-house or in conjunction with other third parties, we can help with planning on how to transform the existing estate accordingly. This can include identifying the steps required as well as any dependencies between them. Once the project implementation approach has been agreed, our engineers can implement the required steps in line with your business policies around change control and network support.
At Norse Networks, we believe in fully testing our solutions possible prior to implementation. We prefer to build and test new solutions in parallel before migrating users and services, however this isn't always possible. When not, we can use work with vendors and create our own lab simulations to ensure proof of concept and provide additional reassurance and risk analysis to your business.
Once implementation and any associated migrations are complete, Norse Networks can assist with operations until they are ready to be transferred to your existing network support function. We can produce tailored operational documentation, workshops and on-site training to ensure as smooth a handover as possible. We can also continue to provide escalation services after the handover is complete for further reassurance.
